Sponsored by University of Wisconsin - Green Bay as a part of the Master Academy of Civic and Public Affairs spring series Making good decisions can be tough under the best of conditions. It's particularly hard to do well when information is scarce or unreliable, when situations are uncertain or changing rapidly, and when we're under time and resource pressure. In this interactive session, we'll explore decision making styles, the effects of personal bias and situational factors on our decision making, and several methods for making decisions along with their pros and cons. We'll consider the challenges of decision making during difficult times and how you might address those challenges as effectively as possible. Instructor: Dr. Lucy Arendt, Professor, School of Business and Economics, St. Norbert College. This advanced training qualifies for IIMC—CMC and MMC points at a rate of 1 point per 2 in-class contact hours.
