Institutes are offered on various dates in the Spring and Fall.
Effective January 1, 2015, students completing any of the five core courses in the Rutgers Municipal Clerk Program may count the hours earned as education points towards the IIMC's CMC designation. The point breakdown is as follows:
- Introduction to the duties - 21 hours = 10.5 points
- Advanced Duties - 18 hours = 9 points
- Local Elections - 18 hours = 9 points
- Municipal Finance Administration - 21 hours = 10.5 points
- Information and Records Management – 19 hours = 9.5 points
If you completed the RMC program before January 1, 2015, you may submit your original RMC certificate to IIMC for 20 CMC Education points.
If you complete the program after January 1, 2015, you will receive 1 CMC Education point per 2 hours for a possible total of 97 hours or 48.5 CMC Education points.
