MATI Foundations 

MATI Advanced Communication Skills for Local Government Professionals (Held annually in April on Bowen Island)
MATI Managing People in Local Government Organizations (Held annually in May on Bowen Island) MATI Leadership in Local Government Organizations (Held annually in June on Bowen Island)
MATI Community Planning in Local Government Organizations (Held annually in October in Kelowna). Conducted by the Local Government Management Association of British Columbia, through the MATI Foundations Program Committee

Scholarship Available:

MFA –Jim Craven Travel Subsidy : This fund provides assistance with travel costs and is awarded based on an organization's financial need. Union of BC Municipalities Commutative Scholarship

The purpose of this Scholarship program is:

(a) To provide financial assistance to persons working in local government who are pursuing courses leading to certification from the Board of Examiners;
(b) To provide financial assistance to persons working in local government who wish to upgrade their professional skills through enrollment in post-secondary courses of study and/or attendance at workshops or seminars relating to local government administration
