Region XI Symposium
The 3rd Region XI Symposium is scheduled for June 6 and 7, 2019 and will be held in Stratford-upon-Avon in the United Kingdom. Aptly titled "Broadening Your Horizons – An International Perspective on Citizen and Community Engagement," the Symposium will be co-sponsored with IIMC Region XI affiliates - SLCC, ADSO and SOLAR -- and will feature speakers from the international community.
***Tentative education program to include the following topics: Bullying and How to Deal with it in the Workplace; Digital Service Delivery and Disrupters in Local Government; Time and Stress Management; Challenges of Working in a Devolved Administration; and Flipping the Organization. Also, confirmed to speak on Community/Citizen Engagement is Dr. Oliver Escobar from Edinburgh University.
Delegates will be nestled in the land of Shakespeare, as Stratford upon Avon offers many educational opportunities for those attending the event.
The banquet will be held nearby on Thursday, June 6 in Warwick Castle.

IIMC’s seventh Study Abroad Program will take place in June prior to and during the Region XI Symposium. The Program will begin in London and conclude as part of the Symposium in Stratford upon Avon. More information
