The Florida Association of City Clerks 2021 Summer Conference and Academy will be held on June 26-30, 2021 at the Luminary Hotel.
The level of stress in the workplace continues to rise and the need for developing and mastering coping skills is even greater. This webinar will identify and define the types of stressors you are facing, teach practical tools for coping with stress, and help improve your personal self-care and self-compassion. The stressors for a municipal clerk can be significant given the public service nature of the profession. Municipal clerks are the “face” of the city and work directly with citizens. It is not uncommon that the citizens you interact with are experiencing some type of distress. This distress in turn is a stressor for you. Stress at work and at home affect your overall well-being. Building on your existing strengths, you can improve your ability to manage stress. We all feel overwhelmed at times, this webinar will provide a practical plan to help.
The courses offered will be those found in our traditional programming, however the number of hours offered will be decreased. PD I, II & III will each offer 24-hours of course content. This format allows the trainers and the participants to maximize learning and avoid “virtual-learning” fatigue. It also allows the participant to scheduled uninterrupted time for learning around existing workloads. These sessions will be in the interactive format you come to expect from the NCI-PD.
PD I, II & III is approved by IIMC for twelve (12) CMC Education
You will receive a certificate of completion for the PD Program attended upon the successful completion of a learning assessment.
