The Fall 2021 Delaware Municipal Clerks Institute is a 40-hour program consisting of seven and a half session days: September 10, 17 (half-day/afternoon only), 24, and October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. The Institute will be hosted virtually through Zoom.

July 21 from 9–1:30 & July 22 from 9–11: 1st Year: Taking leadership to the next level: Enhancing our leadership competencies and understanding and maximizing our communication style (4.5 hrs) Aug. 4 from 9-11:30 & Aug. 5 from 9–11: 2nd Year: Maximizing our potential: Understanding our values and our leadership strengths (4.5 hrs) Aug. 25 from 9-11:30 & Aug. 26 from 9–11: Advanced: The Power of Presence (4.5 hrs) Sessions designated for the full learning community. Attendance by all participants is required for these four sessions: Sept. 8 from 9–11:30 & Sept. 9 from 9–11: Conducting successful meetings in a virtual and hybrid world (Management) (4.5 hrs) Sept. 22 from 9–11 & Sept. 23 from 9–11: Media relations and the Clerk: Knowing what to say, when and how to say it (Professional) (4 hrs) Oct. 13 from 9–12: Diversity Uncovered: A look at implicit and explicit biases (Leadership) (3 hrs) Oct. 20 from 9–11: Final Academy wrap-up & community session (2 hrs)
