NEMCI&A Webinar: Personal Branding: Defining Your Professional Image
Wednesday, October 11, 2023
Hosted by New England Municipal Clerks Institute
LIVE webinars held the second Wednesday of each month.
Your personal brand is how the world sees you. What is your image? What do people say when they speak of you? What do people know of your strengths and skills? What will someone find if they google your name? What will they learn about you on social media? What do you do if someone says something about you that is incorrect and/or negative? What do you do to "clean it up"?
1 CMC Education or 1 MMC Advanced Education point granted with a passing score (70%) on the assessment. After completing the live webinar, you will receive a link to the assessment via email. With a passing score, you will automatically receive a certificate via e-mail instantly. There are unlimited retakes.
Registration closes at 10pm EDT, the evening before the webinar. To serve you better, same day registrations are not accepted.

In the information age, personal branding is necessary for the success of any organization or individual. Failing to manage your personal brand can lead to misinformation about you or your municipality becoming public. Taking control of your public image is no longer an option. Identifying and using the tools that affect personal branding correctly will ensure that the public sees the image you want them to see. A positive brand is necessary for success. At the end of this webinar, you will be able to define and control your image, understand how to sharpen your brand, use social media appropriately, manage your brand in a crisis, and develop and maintain a professional profile in your municipality, among colleagues, friends and family.
