Online Professional Development Program: Situational Leadership

Thursday, June 8, 2023

Situational Leadership is a style of people management that recognizes that not all situations or employees are equal. Varying situations require adapted and varying skills and actions on the part of leaders to ensure the effective accomplishment of the job mission—individual or seasonal. Employees are differentiated by varying factors that determine their job performance and abilities. If a leader treats all situations and employees the same way, they will be ineffective in implementing the right methods to meet their needs. This session will explore situations, employee ability/skill levels, and the proper methods and necessary considerations to manage them properly. We will understand that proper situational leadership methods and strategies enhance team and organizational effectiveness and employee morale. Points: 1 CMC or 1 MMC Advanced Education Point
