The understanding and application of proper influential leadership skills are necessary for municipal clerks, who are essential representatives of the agencies in which they work. Knowledge of leadership is crucial for clerk leaders to perform essential functions in their agencies. It is also necessary for clerks who are not in leadership positions in their organizations to help them to understand their leaders’ roles and how the clerk’s job duties fit into the big picture of their organization’s functions. Practical leadership skills effectively empower the accomplishment of an organization’s goals.
There are many definitions of leadership, and a significant amount of knowledge is taught about it. What does influential leadership look like, and how is it demonstrated in the real world and in real-time today? After completing this course, municipal clerks and leaders will be able to:
- Define the term Influential Leadership.
- Better understand their leadership styles.
- Understand whether leaders are born or made.
- Apply practical Influential Leadership skills in the real world, in real-time, in the workplace today.
FOR THOSE WHO CAN NOT ATTEND AT THE SCHEDULED TIME: The great news is even though you cannot attend, you will receive the link to take the session at a time that is convenient for you. If you paid for your seat, you would still receive all the benefits, including the completed learning assessment points!
