2017 Conference Education Program/Handouts

The 2017 IIMC Annual Conference theme “Passport to Education ~ Passeport pour l’éducation” was created to remind you that of all the books in the world, the best stories are found between the pages of a passport. During your four days in Montréal, you will have the opportunity to make invaluable networking connections, create lifelong memories, benchmark best practices from around the globe and experience a culturally rich education program that will reinvigorate your passion for all things “clerking.”

With 11 university level institutions including the 4 world-class universities, Montréal, Quebec hosts more than 18,000 foreign students from more than 150 countries each year. In 2017 IIMC invites you to become one of those students by stepping out of your comfort zone, dusting off that passport and experiencing a new culture, language, environment and style of learning while appreciating firsthand the diversity that is the spectacular City of Montréal.

In 2017, IIMC will be offering 6 MMC Academy Sessions, 2 Athenian Leadership Dialogues, 2 General Sessions and 42 Concurrent Education Sessions to satiate your desire for professional development.

IIMC looks forward to welcoming you to Montréal, Quebec!

Education Session Handouts - Available in April of 2017

All available session handouts will be been built directly in to the Smartphone Mobile App and the laptop/desktop version.

For information on downloading the app itself, please visit the Smartphone App page here.

IIMC no longer prints or makes copies of annual conference session materials onsite, so be sure to come to Omaha prepared! It is the responsibility of each delegate to download and bring the session materials to the sessions they are interested in attending. Please note that concurrent sessions ( Monday through Wednesday) do not require pre-registration so these sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Download an alternate concurrent session
selection just in case your first choice is full by the time you arrive.

If you registered for a pre-conference Academy or Athenian Dialogue, you will be contacted directly by the Education Department at the beginning of May regarding your session instructions and the required learning assessment.

All session handouts are available for download by following the instructions outlined below:

  • Visit www.iimcannualconference.com
  • Click on the “Schedule” icon to open the schedule
  • Navigate to the appropriate date using the white arrows at the top of the page. The format will look like this - “22 May 2017”
  • Locate the session you would like to attend and click on it to open the session information page
  • You will find a section titled “Files” at the bottom of the page where all of the handouts will be located. Please note that not all presenters choose to submit handouts prior to the conference.
  • Click on each file to download and print
  • Check back leading all the way up to May 15th as new handouts may be added periodically as we get closer

If you have trouble downloading the handouts, please contact IIMC Certification Manager, Ashley DiBlasi for assistance.

If you have registered for a Pre-Conference Athenian Dialogue or Academy session, instructions will be emailed to you directly prior to the conference for those particular sessions.
