Are you joining IIMC in Montreal for the 71st IIMC Annual Conference??
Want to get more involved?
Don't miss out on your chance! IIMC
would like to extend the opportunity to all IIMC members attending the 71st Annual Conference to get involved in the education program by acting as a session
Convener or Scanner.
What does it take?
Convener - The Education Department is looking for volunteers to
introduce the speakers at the beginning of the education sessions and get the
sessions off to a great start. This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your
conference experience and have your name printed in the final program. What a
great souvenir! The Education Department will provide you with everything you
need (including moral support!) to perform your duties as a Convener. This is also a great opportunity to test out those public speaking skills!
Scanner - These delegates will have
the privilege of greeting each delegate as they enter the session room and be
able to take full advantage of the networking opportunities that this position
provides. The Education Department will fully train you on the use of the scanning equipment. Scanner names will also be printed in the final program!
Count me in! What's Next?
Changes and improvements have been made to the volunteer process for 2016.
Please complete the Call for Convener/Scanner Volunteer Form and hit submit. That's it! The Education Department will receive your request and place you into a session in the role you selected. A few weeks before the conference, the department will contact you and provide you with all the information needed to perform your volunteer assignment duties.
Thank you for volunteering. The Annual Conference would not be the same without volunteers like you!
