Founded in 1947, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) is the leading professional nonprofit association of Municipal Clerks and officials from cities and towns around the world. IIMC currently has 10,400 members, mostly from U.S.A. and Canadian municipalities.
The Mission of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks is professionalism in local government through education.
IIMC sponsors continuing education programs, professional certification, conducts research on common problems, and fosters a spirit of mutual assistance and good fellowship among Clerks and municipal officials everywhere.
As a Municipal Clerk/Administrator, you are continually asked to do more with less. IIMC is your Source for education, professional networking, technical support, resources, and publications. In this world of change, IIMC helps you find solutions to problems, enhance critical professional skills and learn new ones. As a member, you belong to a larger network of Clerk/Administrators, allowing you to share your common concerns and "best practices."
