The Democratic Experiment Of Iraq And The
Role of Municipal Administrators In A New Era
Dr. Taha Al-Sabea

Dr. Taha Al-Sabea is an American economist born in Baghdad, Iraq, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Baghdad University, his Master’s degree from Montana State University, and his Ph. D. in Economics from the University of Southern California where he currently is a Professor of Economics.

Taha will speak on "The Democratic Experiment of Iraq and the Role of Municipal Administrators in a New Era." His remarks will include the changing nature of the role of women in public service, the contributions of Islam to democracy, and how Municipal Clerks will make communities safer and more democratic.

Dr. Al-Sabea has the dubious distinction of being a teacher of Saddam Hussein.  He has relatives in Iraq and knows how our system and how the Iraqi system of government works.
